If you’re a small business owner, affordable web design can be really tempting. Some of it is good, but a lot of it is bad. But just because it is affordable does not necessarily mean that it is bad. So what is bad? A couple things that will really change the way customers think of your business is by using template based websites, designing it yourself, or not even updating to the paid version to get rid of the ads. Here’s what your customers are thinking when they see that – one size fit all templates for my problems, over confident in their abilities, and a corner cutter when it comes to quality if they can save a buck. Is this really how you want customers to think of your business? Your website represents your business; it is an online brochure for the world. Spend a little more money on your website. It can still be affordable web design, but the last thing you want to try and nickel design is one of your best assets – your website.
