JD SMITH - keyboards, guitar, vocals & harp

DREW BLOOD - drums

  ANDREW MAYO- bass

KIM SMITH - vocals, guitar, percussion & tin whistle

KEN GRAVEN
-
In addition to his career as VP and Audio Engineer at a top San Francisco acoustics and audio/ visual system design firm, a composer and experienced music producer, Ken plays all the saxes, kick-ass guitar and provides solid backup and occasional lead vocals for the Mixers.  He has performed in many bands, including the Terry Jaye Band, Eddie Neon Blues Band and Kelp Fiction, to name a few.  A partial list of Ken's producer and engineer credits include Gilli Moon, Terry Jaye, Dianna Page, Paul Simona and, of course The Mixers.

J.D. SMITH

-
Keyboardist, guitarist, harmonica player, lead and background singer, composer, lyricist and recording engineer.  Just a few of the talents JD brings to The MIxers.  He has played with Van Morrison, Paul Butterfield, The Beau Brummels, Spider John Koerner, Jimmy Johnson & Jerry Miller of Moby Grape, among others.  In addition to the ability to play practically any instrument, JD is a creative force and serious collector of music and memorabilia.

DREW BLOOD

-
A poet, lyricist, graphic artist and a solid, talented drummer.  Drew Blood played guitar and bass for the many music projects he led.  One day he was handed a pair of drum sticks because the drummer didn't show and the rest is history, which includes Fat Bill & the Hippies, The Mercury Marauders, Strung out, Driftwood, Glow and Slainte Viva.  Today, his metronome-style time-keeping drives The Mixers and the audience.

ANDREW MAYO
-
Folk music to the blues to rock & roll.  A natural progression.  Andrew was informed by his mates in his first garage band that he was the lousiest guitar player and would therefore play bass.  He never looked back.  This led to local clubs.  Then to a full time music career that concentrated on the Nevada circuit.  After a hiatus, Andrew joined the group that has evolved into The Mixers.

KIMBERLY SMITH
-
As a musician and creative designer, Kimberly shares her achievements and talents with the world in many ways.  Among them is her beautiful voice which she offers as lead and background vocalist with The Mixers.  Her lovely harmonies and exuberant voice (she has perfect pitch, a rare talent in itself) add a warm, vibrant dimension to the band.  Kim has worked with several groups including Radio Daddyo, The Ball Lightening Band, The
Works and Green Light Records.  Other undertakings and musical associations have honed Kim's impressive musical accomplishments to the the point that she is a wonderful addition to The Mixers lineup.  Kim's stage presence and enthusiastic performances are not to be missed.
